The Family First Prevention Services Act


The continuing resolution (CR) passed by Congress on 2/9/18  extends a host of health programs that expired on September 30, 2017, including the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program and community health centers; enacts the Family First Prevention and Services Act, a prevention-focused foster care initiative; doubles spending for the Child Care and Development Block Grant; and extends the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for an additional four years.  Check out the one-pager for more info.
