Kids Are Worth It!® Conference

The Kids Are Worth It!® Conference is Kentucky’s premier educational event designed to meet the continuing education, networking, and programmatic needs of diverse professionals who contribute professionally or personally to the safety, well-being and permanency of Kentucky’s children.

Join us at the Galt House, Louisville on September 11th and 12th for a selection of 40 workshops, two keynote sessions and variety of exhibitors. Workshop topics will include child neglect, electronic crimes against children, building resiliency in families and children, death scene investigations, and much more. Continuing Education Credits will be available for a variety of disciplines.

Last year we met capacity for this event so we’ve moved to the larger section of the Galt House to accommodate more participants. But, don’t wait! Secure your registration today.

Accommodations
Hotel charges are not included in your conference registration fee. A block of rooms are reserved at the Galt House, 140 North Fourth Street, Louisville for September 10th -12th at a rate of $189 for deluxe guest rooms and $209 for executive suites. To secure lodging please use the following link or call 1-800-843-4258 and reference group code 0910KID. This rate will be available through August 18th. After this date, the lodging rate will not be guaranteed. Parking will be available in the Galt House parking garage connected to the East Tower at a cost of $12 a day for participants utilizing lodging or driving in each day.

Parking
Parking can be accessed on-site in an attached, covered garage. You can enter this garage from 4th street. The entrance is located directly after the main lobby (East Tower) and valet parking lane. To receive the $12 daily parking rate, participants must self-park their vehicle. Vehicles over 6ft 4 inches will not fit in this garage.

The parking garage located on the opposite side of the facility (attached to the West Tower) will not honor the negotiated rate. *Helpful hint: You are parking in the correct garage if the river is directly in front of you when you turn right to park. If the river is behind you when you turn right to park, you will be entering the garage owned by the city. The attached image of the facility may be helpful when navigating parking.

Guests driving in each day will need to visit the Kids Are Worth It! Conference Registration Desk located on the 2nd floor of the East Tower to collect a parking ticket to use each day to exit the building. This ticket will allow you to pay only $12.

Guests staying overnight will have the daily $12 negotiated rate included in their lodging bill.
